Summerfest fans enjoy beer, music

See that?  That's the headline from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel covering Day 1 of Summerfest 2008.  Who are the ad wizards who came up with that one?!? ($10 off any service at the salon if you send an email to name that reference).  I love that it takes 2 writers to come up with that.  Come on fellas, stop phoning in your work and write for real.  Get out and see the people or bands or something!  You have shiny press passes....use 'em.   Can't wait for the State Fair article.  STATE FAIR FANS ENJOY COW SHIT, CREAM PUFFS.  Keep it up fellers. 

Although I swore I'd never return to the Summerfest grounds after my dreadful showing in the dachshund race at German Fest 2007, the following bands have made me turn a blind eye to that dark day.  And now, the obligatory Summerfest list:
